I didn’t expect a gold coffee basket to change my life, but here we are. Hypergrind really said, “What if we made your Breville taste like it finally went to university and got its degree in Flavour Extraction?”

The moment I swapped in this Precision Coffee Basket, my BES881 basically looked at me like, “Oh… so THIS is what we’re doing now.” Suddenly my shots went from “yeah that’s fine” to “why does this taste like a café just opened in my kitchen?”

The dual‑layer design with its 1,160 fancy droplet holes and 64 inner micro‑holes? I don’t know what kind of wizardry that is, but it works. The extraction is smoother, sweeter, and more balanced than my life choices. Bitter notes? Gone. Channeling? Not on this basket’s watch. These mugs are great quality and a beautiful way to enjoy the perfect cup of coffee. Only wish I had bought more for a larger set!

Beautiful portafilter. Looks awesome in my Breville Bambino. Just have to tweak the grind so my coffee isn't spraying everywhere when I pull a shot.
