Bought this self-levelling tamper as a present for my partner, who is definitely the coffee connoisseur in our house, and he absolutely loves it!

It tamps evenly and smoothly every time, taking the effort and guesswork out of getting a consistent tamp. I also really enjoy using it compared to a standard tamper, once you use a self-levelling one, it’s hard to go back!

Struggled for a year to get good coffee out of Breville Barista. A friend suggested this bottomless portafilter. Slightly to my surprise it made an extraordinary difference. Took a few days to recalibrate grind and settings but coffee improved out of sight, now cafe quality. Now going to upgrade the screens etc.
